MICHAEL LOVATA
Director
Michael has 17 years of diversified hotel experience in lending, loan
origination, lender negotiations and loan closings. He has been a panelist
for many major industry conferences.
Michael was the Managing Director of Finance for Starwood Hotels &
Resorts. He was responsible for implementing financing strategies for
Starwood's portfolios of hotel properties within the United States and
internationally with some of the world's most recognized hotel lenders.
He not only closed hundreds of millions of dollars of loans, but was also
the chief architect of Starwood's mezzanine loan program currently utilized
by Starwood for the benefit of its franchisees and hotel development partners.
Prior to Starwood, he served as Vice President for Finova Capital Corporation.
He received a BA and MBA from Arizona State University.
